Queen Anne Pistol by W Turvey of London – Ref A1390
An early side lock cannon barrelled Queen Anne pistol by W Turvey of London, with silver butt cap, side plate and ornate silver escutcheon. This pistol dates from about 1725, and whilst plainer than many of its type, is a very clean early edition. All iron parts are crisp and patinated with very little wear and the pistol is a really good early example of this type.
