A very fine pair of 20B percussion belt pistols by James Wilkinson & Son with 6” hexagonal barrels, captive ramrods, case hardened and steel furniture throughout and back action bolted lock. With crests and dedication to the case for Thomas Young of 24 Summerhill, Dublin – who apparently was a Dublin lawyer. The pistols retain most of their original finishes to their brown twist barrels, the case hardened butts with traps and 50% of the blue to the trigger guards. They are contained within their maker’s original green baize lined mahogany case together with their accessories including a three-way powder flask, ram cleaning rod, bullet mould and turn screws. Makers label James Wilkinson & Son affixed to the inner lid.
