A superb holster pistol by Valentin Marr of Copenhagen, Gunmaker to the Danish Court circa 1740. The finest quality gilt bronze mounts in excellent condition, the polished steel Barrel with carved Classical scene, convex lock plate, carved swan neck cock, semi rainproof pan, gilded and pierced sidenail plate, makers plain gold escutcheon with owners crest, best quality walnut full stock carved at the tang, and original horn tipped Ramrod.
