Flintock Cannon Barrelled Pistol by H Delany Londini – Ref A1395
A fine side hammer flintlock cannon barrelled pistol by H Delany Londini with turn off barrel, silver mounts and iron trigger guard, this pistol is too early to have a trigger guard safety. London proof marks with H Delany monogramed proof in between. The pistol overall is in used but fine and crisp condition with little wear to the barrel. Sharp facets to the action, a silver grotesque mask butt cap and a Griffin silver side plate. The escutcheon plate is plain but the whole butt is decorated with an intricate silver wire inlay, which has very minor losses through wear and use. Circa 1730.
