A rare and desirable pair of 16 bore percussion shotguns by Tatham Junior, with gold crests engraved with the initials of Ernst August, Prince of Hannover and Duke of Brunswick, circa 1835. Provenance: Schloss Marienburg, Hannover.

Condition: Barrels have been re-browned, locks and furniture retain some original finish but have small signs of corrosion which has been removed. Stocks are clean and original. Pairs of percussion guns, whether English made or Continental, are very scarce: this is an opportunity to acquire a pair with Royal Provenance.
