<p>Small handle with black vulcanite grip scales. Retaining approximately 90% original deep charcoal blue finish with minor areas of brown patina. Good bore and chambers.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Complete in its original wine red cardboard box with W &amp; S Factory instructions label pasted into lid.  Label ink stamped with &#8220;Robert Jones, Monarch Gun Works, Manchester Street, Liverpool&#8221;, similar Robert Jones trade label pasted to outside of cardboard box.  W&amp;D factory cardboard boxes are very uncommon and hardly ever encountered.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Assembled and produced during French occupation of the Oberndorf factory site after the end of WWII for issue to their troops in the Indo-China conflict.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Standard specification with chequered wood grips and a black Parkerized finish, trigger guard marked with intertwined &#8220;MR&#8221; which is the French military inspector&#8217;s mark.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Slide marked with Mauser banner trademark and &#8220;Mauser-Werke-A.G. Oberndoft aN/Mod. HSc Kal 7.65mm&#8221;.</p>
<p>Pistol appears as new with a perfect bore and virtually 100% parkerized finish remaining. Clean wood grips with a good bore.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Pender&#8217;s book &#8220;Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1945&#8243; total production of this particular variant was approximately 15,000 units.</p>
