.38 Webley MkIII Pocket Revolver, 3″ Barrel – Ref 5669

.38 Webley MkIII Pocket Revolver with 3″ barrel with fixed half moon blade foresight, fixed notch rear-sight to breech latch, rib marked “Robert Jones, 42 Manchester St, Liverpool” and with their register number to side of barrel lump (2743 R.J.), brightly polished hammer and trigger, hammer with flat face and captivated striker mounted in body.

Small handle with black vulcanite grip scales. Retaining approximately 90% original deep charcoal blue finish with minor areas of brown patina. Good bore and chambers.

Complete in its original wine red cardboard box with W & S Factory instructions label pasted into lid. Label ink stamped with “Robert Jones, Monarch Gun Works, Manchester Street, Liverpool”, similar Robert Jones trade label pasted to outside of cardboard box. W&D factory cardboard boxes are very uncommon and hardly ever encountered.

7.65mm Ortgies’ Patent Pocket Pistol with 3 1/2″ barrel, slide with standard markings “Ortgies’ Patent/Deutsche Werke Aktiengesellschaff/Werk Erfurt”.

Smooth walnut grip scales with monogram, nickel plated magazine. Good bore, pistol retains approximately 98% original blue finish, very slight wear to muzzle area.

7.65mm Mauser HSc Pocket Pistol – Ref 5667

7.65mm Mauser HSc Pocket Pistol

Assembled and produced during French occupation of the Oberndorf factory site after the end of WWII for issue to their troops in the Indo-China conflict.

Standard specification with chequered wood grips and a black Parkerized finish, trigger guard marked with intertwined “MR” which is the French military inspector’s mark.

Slide marked with Mauser banner trademark and “Mauser-Werke-A.G. Oberndoft aN/Mod. HSc Kal 7.65mm”.

Pistol appears as new with a perfect bore and virtually 100% parkerized finish remaining. Clean wood grips with a good bore.

According to Pender’s book “Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1945″ total production of this particular variant was approximately 15,000 units.

Standard specification and copious ordnance marks. Body marked “Enfield/Crown/MkVI/1924″, black plastic grips, retaining approximately 98% original black/blue finish, very minor surface pits to a cylinder flute, excellent bore and chambers.

This is a particularly nice example.

A very fine .455 Webley “WS” Target Model Revolver

With 7 1/2″ barrel with blade fore-sight, barrel rib is marked “Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham & London”. Breech latch is fitted with a drift adjustable rear-sight. Chequered walnut grips, polished hammer and trigger, very good bore and chambers.

Pistol retains nearly all its original finish with unblemished wood grips, bright trigger and hammer, spotless bore.

Made in Ca 1927.

A 12bore Box Lock Ejector by Webley and Scott made expressly for Jeffrey and Sons, Guildford.

14 1/2″ well figured straight stock, slight cast off, 26″ barrels, both barrels proofed at 2 3/4.

Measurements:

Barrels: Choked 1/2 and full

Bores: 729 left 729 right

Wall Thicknesses: 025 left and 023 right

14 5/8″ straight hand stock with 1/8″ cast off.

Sparsely engraved action retaining some 60% of its original case hardening colour with most colour to the top strap and retaining most blue to the trigger guard and top lever.

Very well figured stock measuring 14 1/4″

1/4″ cast off, drop is 1 1/2″ at the comb and 2″ at the heal.

28″ barrels, 2 1/2″ cambers proofed.

Wall thicknesses 022 left and 024 right

Bores 734 right 735 left

Full choke left barrel, 1/4 choke right barrel.

Faded case hardening colours to the lock plates, action is deep border engraved overall with plain panels, carved oak leaf fences, blued top lever and trigger guard, engraved gold number “2″ to all parts.

A fine approximately 18bore double barrel flintlock gun by Hough of Dumfries.

Three gold lines at the breech, maker’s gold poincons to the tops of the breeches and to the lock plates, rain proof pans and gold lined touch holes.

Rebrowned twist barrels. The whole in very crisp condition with little original finish but good patination and no corrosion.

A fine and rare .35 Smith and Wesson Model 1913 Automatic Pistol

Blued finish with wood grips with Smith and Wesson emblem to them, grip safety and ordinary safety.

The pistol is the sixth variant listed by Neil Jinks produced about 1917/18. It is of the highest quality as were all these pistols.

Gun number 51***

Condition:

The pistol appears virtually unused; it retains some 95% of its original blued finish with some small blemishes to the rear of the barrel group and one or two small stains. Some wear to the muzzle. The bore is excellent.
