A very fine Webley .455 MkI (Naval) Self-Loading Pistol
dated 1913
Condition:
The pistol retains 90% of its original blue finish except a small area
of bare metal on the left hand side of the barrel probably caused
by bad de-greasing in the factory. The bore is excellent. |

10.6mm Mauser Zig-Zag revolver number 2077 in
blue.
Condition:
This pistol appears to have been virtually unused. There are
some speckles of rust neglect to one small portion of the cylinder and
to the right hand side of the frame and barrel. The left hand side
is very clean and the pistol retains some 85%+ of its original finish.
The bore is excellent and there is no evidence that the pistol has been
fired. The grips are perfect with no apparent cracks or breakages. |

Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver in blue with 5” barrel
Markings:
English black powder proof marks, marked calibre 45.
Condition:
The pistol retains some 90-93% finish to the frame, barrel, extractor
housing and some 75% to the cylinder which has some patination to it.
The bore is excellent and the pistol shows very little sign of having been
fired at all. Unlike many of this ilk the action of the pistol is
still sound and functions well. |

Colt Model 1911 US Army
Delivered on 26th June 1918, one of 5000 which were shipped to the
Ordnance Depot in Brooklyn. This pistol was then passed to the Canadian’s
for WWII where it was refinished by the Canadian Ordnance.
Markings:
A “c arrow mark” is applied with electro pen to the left hand side
of the frame and the United States Property has been erased equally with
an electro pen.
Condition:
The gun retains well over 90% of its Ordnance refinish and of course
the correct magazine for the arm. |

.455 Webley and Scott MkI Commercial Automatic Self Loading Pistol
Condition:
An extremely fine pistol dated 1913, marked to "Lt Col V C Thistlethwaite,
1st 7th Battalion Cheshire Regiment" to the right of the slide. The
pistol retains some 85-90% of its original finish with polished hammer,
extractor and slide lock. It is contained in its rare canvas covered
leather holster together with an earlier dated pouch of cow hide, a compass
and an identify bracelet, all marked to Lt Col Thistlethwaite |

Condition:
The gun retains some 50% of its blue finish but it has some rust marks
and abrasion to it throughout and some staining. It has the correct
model 1893 sights, church steeple cylinder and adjustable fore sight,
grips are a contemporary or slightly later replacement of fine quality.
The gun is rare. |

Condition:
In excellent condition throughout. This gun retains 90% of its
original finish with a small area of wear and patination to the rear of
the slide. Wood grips are unchequered with a few dents and abrasions,
the bore is good.
Markings:
To left of slide "Deutschewerke (Ortgies Logo) erfurt", brass Ortgies
logo inset to grips, to the right of frame "Ortgies Patent", "Crown N"
proof marks and calibre "7.65mm" |

.450 Number 2 Musket (Eley Soper cartridge) Soper Sporting Rifle, plain
action marked "W Soper's patent". Barrel "W Soper Rifle and Gunmaker,
Reading, England". Well figured walnut stock with short fore-end,
ovoid barrel with flat machined rib.
Condition:
Traces of case hardening colour to the action throughout; patinated
trigger guard with more traces of case hardening colour. Barrel has
been re-blacked, stock shows some small dents and bruises but is
well figures with silver escutcheon plate. Chequering is crisp.
Steel butt plate shows small signs of corrosion at top and side, bore is
Henry's rifled and clean. |
